Dr. Toutoule Ntoya (@ToutouleNtoya)

Dr. Toutoule Ntoya is an educator and entrepreneur dedicated to helping students achieve by 1) working with teachers in professional development and cognitive coaching to implement curricula and 2) working with students directly using learning and motivational strategies. Toutoule has completed a Masters degree in Education with an emphasis in teaching. Dr. Ntoya has also obtained a Cleared Teaching Credential in Science and an Administration Services Credential. Dr. Ntoya possesses an educational doctoral degree in Urban Education Leadership at the University of Southern California emphasizing in educational psychology. As a life-long learner, Dr. Ntoya loves to work in collaborative settings with like-minded individuals working in synergy. Throughout his career, Dr. Ntoya has shown a passion for working with diverse learners to show them the necessary skills to be successful in whatever endeavor they choose to participate in.

Ronnie Thomas applies his 20 years of STEM teaching experience to ensure that all learners are challenged. He is an enthusiastic and passionate technology driven educator with a solid commitment to the social, academic and developmental growth of every student. Known for his engaging and versatile teaching methods, Thomas has the ability to inspire hands­-on learning experiences that capture a student’s imagination. A native of Birmingham, he graduated from Alabama State University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (Beta Zeta). Additional professional endeavors include building Kan’t Stop Services, LLC, a mobile dj/outdoor movie/photo booth service provider. The Founder of Georgia Science & Robotics Academy, Inc 501c3 and Fun Weird Science, LLC, Ronnie resides in Atlanta with his wife and three children.

I am a first-grade teacher at Browning Road STEAM Academy. I’m on my thirteenth year of teaching. I love tech, teaching STEAM, and the constant building of relationships with students.

 

Christy Cate (@ChristyCate)

Christy grew up in a family of educators and vowed that education would NOT be her destiny. God, however, had other plans for her and after first starting out in the business world, she found herself finally at home in a classroom in 1997. Her business background gave her an edge in technology use when tech tools hit the schools. She eventually became an instructional technology specialist and currently serves as a Digital Innovation Consultant for 42 rural school districts in West Texas.
